The AS6031 enables next generation ultrasonic flow converters for water and heat meters. Time of flight information and flow calculation (-F01) is extracted by a front-end that is driving the transducers and processing the receive signal, a programmable gain amplifier allows handling weaker receive amplitudes while a phase-modulation provides even more robustness to the first hit level detection of the system.

The integrated low-power CPU combines flow calculation with a precise measurement front-end, providing outstanding low-flow detection capability down to leakage levels yet still enabling battery operated devices with years of lifetime.
