The RE01-256K offers a unique combination of high performance, low voltage operation, and extremely low active and standby currents making the RE01-256K ideal for a wide range of IoT sensor applications. The RE01-256K has a high ratio of Flash/SRAM with 256 Kbytes of ultra low power flash memory and 128 Kbytes of SRAM offering execution from flash with current consumption as low as 12 uA/MHz. These levels of performance allow the RE01 to achieve market-leading levels of performance in the independently verified EEMBC ULP benchmarks.

The RE01-256K is supported by the RE01-256K evaluation kit, part number RTK70E0118S00000BJ. This kit provides all the features needed to evaluate the use of the RE01-256K in your application, the evaluation board includes a Segger J-Link Light debugger to make for easy debugging of your application and has both Pmod and an Arduino Uno interface to make it easy to prototype applications using Arduino shields and Pmod adaptors to add additional components. The evaluation board is supported by a variety of integrated development environments including Renesas's e2studio, IAR's IWARM workbench, and Seggers Embedded Studio.
