The highly integrated RAA239101 Low-Power Analog Frontend IC includes peripherals & features required for a photoelectric smoke detector system, mainly focused on residential smoke detector designs. Therefore, it is very simple and straightforward to realize a complete photoelectric smoke detector electronics circuitry with only two key components: MCU + AFE. The Renesas Winning Combination "EU070 - Household Smoke Detector" demonstrates the simplicity & functionality of such a compact smoke detector design.
