Broadcom AFBR-58x3xxZ Family 125 MBd fast ethernet transceivers

Broadcom offers a new family of AFBR-58x3xxZ transceivers for 125-MBd Fast Ethernet communication in energy distribution systems. The new transceivers offer a 50% savings in power consumption. In addition, the AFBR-5823xxZ transceivers offer an integrated diagnostic monitoring interface compatible with the SFF-8472 standard.

The AFBR-58x3xxZ transceivers family is available in the industry standard 1 × 9 and 2 × 9 package style with either a duplex SC or a duplex ST1 connector interface. Other SFF and SFP form factors are also available.
