Toshiba Electronics Europe TLP3480, TLP3481, and TLP3482 photorelay
TLP3480, TLP3481, and TLP3482 are housed in P-SON4, a new package with a significantly smaller mounting area than Toshiba’s SOP packages
TLP3480, TLP3481, and TLP3482 are housed in P-SON4, a new package with a significantly smaller mounting area than Toshiba’s SOP packages. All of the new photo-relays have an OFF-state output terminal voltage rating and ON-state current rating comparable with products housed in SOP package products, with ratings ranging from 30 V and 4.5 A to 100 V and 2 A, according to the device.
With the compact dimension of 2.1 x 3.4 mm, the new P-SON4 package format occupies a very small mounting area on the PCB. This means that the photo relays are well suited for high-density board designs, where the available space is very limited.
