The SLN-VIZNAS-IOT development kit leverages the i.MX RT106F crossover MCU and implements a solution for secure face recognition with liveness detection for anti-spoofing.

It enables developers to quickly and easily add low cost, secure face recognition capabilities. This ultra-small form-factor reference design comes with fully integrated software running on FreeRTOS, for quick out-of-the-box evaluation and proof of concept development, minimizing time to market, risk, and development effort.

The i.MX RT106F is an EdgeReady member of the i.MX RT1060 family of crossover MCUs, targeting low cost embedded secure face recognition applications.

At the heart of the solution is the i.MX RT106F operating at speeds of up to 600 MHz. It includes a camera module and interfaces. also has pre-integrated Wi-Fi/BLE for optional connectivity.

The i.MX RT106F is similar to other i.MX RT1060 family members but includes a run time license for all the turnkey software needed for secure face recognition.
