WeEn high power triacs

High power AC applications require careful attention for the triac design. The high Tj(max) of 150°C provides more margin in thermal design. The (internally) isolated package is ideal for water heater control. The triac package can be mounted to the cold water inlet without using any external electrical isolation. For heater control, the Triacs can be triggered in different modes: full-wave control or phase control. The WeEn high power triacs are UL1577 certified, to ensure the design and application safety.
